The Process of Improving

There is a line in the song “Cherry Bomb” by Jon Mellencamp: “We were young and we were improving.” My version would be, “We were improving, felt like we were still young.” I’ve discovered it is the process of improving that keeps me feeling young, vital and having a sense of purpose in my life. Like that old oak outside my window, I’m still growing and it’s all good!
